Pre-Sales Engineer (Boston or New York)

Location: Northeast Corridor

Job Description:

The Pre-Sales Engineer will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to initiate and support the technical evaluation phase of the sales cycles, serving as the sales team’s primary technical resource.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Serve as central technical point-of-contact for customers and prospects
    • Take charge, uncover customers’ requirements and lead technical discussions through to success
    • Translate customers’ requirements into POC criteria, work closely with our Professional Services team throughout the Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations to assure a wining outcome
    • Listen for and document actionable customer requirements necessary to win business
    • Present the product to customers at seminars and partners at technical training sessions
    • Prepare well-written responses to the functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
    • Attain and maintain a thorough knowledge of Vaultive products, policies and services
    • Prove yourself as a subject matter expert with partners and customers
    • Travel throughout sales territory (US, International) as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

    • 10 years of experience on enterprise software sales teams providing pre-sales consulting, technical account management with Security and Compliance Solutions
    • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
    • Thorough understanding of Enterprise IT environments, networking and SaaS; (Messaging, Web Servers and Services, Application Servers, SOA, email eco-systems, etc.)
    • Solid experience in security, computer/network security certifications a plus
    • Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise IT security (Crypto, Authentication and Identity Management)
    • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses

Professional Services Engineer (Boston or New York)

Description

The Professional Services Engineer is responsible for providing post-sales services and solution implementation for customers. This position requires strong technical and communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work with customers under a variety of circumstances and understand and meet customer expectations is a requirement. The individual must be a self-starter with strong problem solving skills. As the technical lead for a customer implementation you will work with customers to identify the requirements and design and implement the solution, you will need to be able to learn new technologies and products on the fly. A large part of the PSE’s responsibilities will likely consist of scoping the project, designing, documenting, implementing, and producing as built documents. This position requires a customer service-centric attitude, strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn and grow as we configure and install solutions to meet our customers growing needs.

    • DNS, Network Topologies, Hypervisors technologies

Sales Development Representative (Boston)

Description

 

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Following up on inbound leads
  • Qualifying these leads to determine if they are sales campaign ready
  • Maintaining good notes on leads in the Vaultive Salesforce.com system
  • Appropriately transferring qualified in leads to the appropriate Vaultive salesperson

Customer Service Specialist (Boston or New York)

Description

 

The Customer Support Specialist will join Vaultive’s Support team, with a mission to deliver world-class support to Vaultive’s enterprise customers and partners. The Support Specialist must demonstrate a strong interest in cloud technologies and information security, and must have a solid record of working with demanding customers in mission-critical situations to efficiently and effectively diagnose and resolve critical issues. Vaultive provides a collegial and supportive atmosphere, with a strong emphasis on teamwork. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn and grow with an exciting company developing leading solutions in the emerging cloud security market.

The successful candidate will:

  • Own customer issues from first report through resolution and follow-up
  • Identify customer errors and investigate product issues in real-time, high-pressure environments
  • Work with Vaultive Professional Services, R&D, and Product Management to escalate and resolve customer issues, and represent voice-of-customer input in product planning and prioritization forums

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Working hand in hand with Vaultive engineering team to address security and product integrity requirements starting from the design phase to the final product pen-testing
  • Maintaining research knowledgebase of new cyber threats and attack vectors, and ensuring ongoing internal education efforts as threats emerge and evolve

General Requirements:

  • Proven secure design and deployment expertise
  • Direct experience with cloud computing environment, cloud applications design, deployment and development

IT Expert

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • System Administration including the setup, operation and ongoing maintenance of the company’s multi-site internal networks, servers and network security systems/policies
  • Have first-line responsibility for administration and maintenance of mission critical (Linux) production servers across local and remote data centers
  • Partner closely with the Engineering/PS team and assist them in isolating and debugging application/system level configuration and performance problems
